At MTAR, we believe that children are the foundation of a nation’s future. Their well-being is not only a moral responsibility but a critical investment in the progress of society. As part of our corporate social responsibility strategy, we have made child welfare a core focus area.
To support this vision, we have partnered with St. Jude India ChildCare Centres, an NGO dedicated to providing holistic care to children battling chronic illnesses such as cancer. In FY 2021–22, we contributed ₹1.2 million to support their efforts in delivering a safe, nurturing environment for affected children and their families.
Education
At MTAR, we believe that empowering young minds through education is vital for shaping a stronger, more progressive nation. Our efforts are focused on creating opportunities for underprivileged children and nurturing the next generation of leaders and innovators.
In FY 2021–22, we contributed ₹2.5 million to the Ekam Foundation to support access to quality, value-based education for children in need. Additionally, we contributed ₹4.0 million to the IIM Visakhapatnam Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning and Development to foster the growth of young entrepreneurs and drive innovation.
We are also committed to skill development, regularly recruiting apprentices and providing hands-on training in advanced manufacturing technologies—equipping them with the skills needed for future-ready careers.
Health
We recognize that a healthy society is the cornerstone of a productive economy and a thriving nation. At MTAR, we are committed to supporting healthcare initiatives that create meaningful impact, especially for underprivileged communities.
In line with this commitment, we partnered with the Ekam Foundation to provide critical medical aid to children requiring life-saving interventions. During FY 2021–22, we contributed ₹2.0 million to support their mission of delivering accessible healthcare to those in need.
Our health initiatives are currently being implemented in collaboration with esteemed NGO partners, including St. Jude India ChildCare Centres, Ekam Foundation, and the IIM Visakhapatnam Foundation for Incubation, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.

Our involvement in the Clean Energy Supply Chain reflects this commitment. By supplying power units to Bloom Energy’s fuel cells, which utilize methane and emit up to 60% less carbon compared to conventional LPG, we are playing a key role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Additionally, we are actively engaged in the manufacture of hydrogen boxes and prototypes for electrolyzers, which operate without carbon emissions—marking a significant step towards a carbon-neutral future.
