Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (A Govt. Of India Enterprise) is a Power Sector wing of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. NPCIL is responsible for design, construction, commissioning and operation of nuclear power reactors. It was set up with the objective of operating the atomic power stations and implementing the atomic power projects in India. MTAR has been a major supplier of NPCIL in the past 4 decades. It has contributed significantly to the various Indian Nuclear reactors, which are operating in India today. MTAR has a strong focus on high precision equipment that is found in the nuclear vault.
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre is a premier multi-disciplinary Nuclear Research Centre of India having excellent infrastructure for advanced Research and Development with expertise covering the entire spectrum of Nuclear Science and Engineering and related areas. MTAR has worked closely with BARC for the last 3 decades in taking challenges of developing several components for BARC. Apart from supplying various critical assemblies, MTAR has supplied the Vertical fuelling machine head for AHWR.
The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), established in the year 1971 is a major industrial unit of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The complex is responsible for the supply of nuclear fuel bundles and reactor core components for all the nuclear power reactors operating in India. MTAR has been a dominant supplier of NFC for the Last 3 decades. We have supplied several machined zirconium tubes and many critical precision machined components for the Reactor project. We have also supplied fuel elements for the reactors through NFC.
